At the January 15th Council Meeting, the Mayor and Council approved a resolution co-designating NW 92 Avenue from NW 33 Street to NW 25 Street as “Maria Corina Machado Path,” honoring a courageous leader and symbol of the fight for freedom and democracy. Thanks to the initiative of Councilman Rafael Pineyro who brought this item forward.
This resolution meets our initiatives by recognizing voices that stand for liberty, uplifting our community’s values, and reaffirming Doral’s commitment to human rights, democracy, and international solidarity.
