En el primer partido el azul derrotó 3-2 a su compañero de patio Kendall Revolution que venía de perder 0-1 contra el visitante seleccionado de North Miami.
El equipo azul se mostró sólido y efectivo tanto en ataque como en defensa, mientras que “la licuadora” del medio campo no permitió al nutrido equipo canario lograr la victoria que necesitaba para no quedar eliminado.
El representante de North Miami había ganado su primer partido y esperaba al ganador del segundo para aspirar al título que han logrado solo una de las 3 veces que ha participado en el ya famoso torneo. El empate con el MD-11 2-2 no fue suficiente porque la diferencia en goles favorecía al equipo azul que celebró hasta altas horas de la madrugada una nueva y contundente victoria.
