De acuerdo con la página de estadísticas, la población total de Doral es de 75,874 de los cuales el 9.1%, es decir unas 7 mil personas tienen como único idioma el inglés.
El 70% se ubica en el rango de mayores de 18 años por lo que son potenciales electores, es decir 53,111 pero, de acuerdo con información suministrada por la supervisora de elecciones de Miami-Dade, Cristina White, a fecha de 1 de abril de 2022, solo hay 31,501 votantes registrados, de los cuales 24,439 son hispanos.
Algo que ha llamado la atención de los residentes es que la controversial posición del “City Manager”, que actualmente desempeña el exjefe de policía Hernán Organvidez de manera interina o como “Acting City Manager”, no aparece en la página de funcionarios de la ciudad que detalla las tareas y requisitos de quienes ejercen los diferentes cargos oficiales.
Doral First Magazine ha preguntado la causa de esta ausencia a los funcionarios encargados de suministrar información a los medios pero hasta la fecha no ha obtenido respuesta.
