Doral (Diciembre 13, 2022) Con una ventaja cercana al 10% (3,702-3089) la candidata Christi Fraga logró una importante victoria sobre su oponente, Claudia Mariaca tras una campaña electoral marcada por ataques desleales y falsas acusaciones contra los candidatos que no estaban alineados con el ex alcalde Juan Carlos Bermúdez.
Por la silla número uno del concejo el candidato Rafael Pineyro derrotó a Susie Castillo (3,449-3,283) con una diferencia que superó escasamente el 2%. La coalición encabezada por Fraga se anotó otra victoria con Maureen Porras sobre Ivette Gonzalez (3,469-3225) por la silla dos del concejo con una ventaja poco superior al 3%.
La polarización electoral que vivió Doral durante varios meses también dejó otros candidatos “quemados” por pretender seguir los lineamientos obsoletos y nocivos del ex alcalde Bermúdez, el veterano Pete Cabrera no alcanzó a llegar a la final del evento y en una inexplicable jugada, se anotó un autogol quedando eliminado en la primera ronda, a pesar de contar con un respetable caudal electoral.
De esta manera los residentes de Doral mostraron su rechazo a las prácticas administrativas de muchos años, al clientelismo y a los continuos errores de una administración que se dedicó al beneficio propio asignándose pensiones millonarias y se olvidó de su juramento de servir a la comunidad que los puso en cargos de privilegio.
Otro gran derrotado en esta última jornada es el ex alcalde Juan Carlos Bermúdez, quien siempre aseguró que seguiría controlando la ciudad y que se ocuparía de dejar los funcionarios de su preferencia una vez se produjera su retiro para ir a la Comisión de Miami-Dade. Las amenazas, censuras y descalificaciones a medios como DORAL FIRST MAGAZINE, no surtieron efecto y quedó claro cuáles son los falsos y cuales los verdaderos.
Los residentes de Doral no resistieron la practica social-comunista de descalificar a los medios que denuncian la verdad y se dieron cuenta que la ciudad se estaba convirtiendo en una “república bananera” repartida entre gamonales que solo buscaban beneficio propio y permanencia en el poder.
La mayoría en el Concejo le permitirá a Fraga cumplir con sus promesas ya que en la baraja solo quedó una fiel aliada del ex alcalde, Digna Cabral y un Jocker que aún no sabemos cómo acomodar.
